SHAKAZAMBA designed and developed L’UNICA, the new Fiscal Focus platform that has transformed an archive of nearly 2 million documents into a dynamic, intelligent database.
Our solution is naturally based on a custom AI implementation, tailored specifically to the unique needs of the tax sector.
We developed an advanced RAG (Retrieval-Augmented Generation) system to index the entire corpus of Fiscal Focus articles and institutional sources.
This approach allows the AI not to “invent” answers, but to quote and return official documents directly.
The AI is capable of understanding the natural language of tax professionals, including technical terminology, acronyms, and legal references — enabling users to navigate this vast amount of information easily and instantly, without wasting time searching for the right regulation.
Finally, to further enhance user value, we integrated agentic components directly within the results interface: inside each document, users can activate agent buttons to perform specific tasks on the text, such as summarization or simplification.
L’UNICA was unveiled on October 22, 2025, at the National Congress of Accountants in Genoa.
After the established success of TEO, it marks another milestone in the intelligent digitalization of the accounting profession — driven and accelerated by Fiscal Focus, with whom we’re already working toward the next goal!
